# Tips and troubleshooting

**Sticking shafts**

The Megado looms, shafts are very close together and compact. As a result, the most common issue Megado owners have is sticking harnesses. However, the number one reason for sticking shafts is bunched up heddles. Too many extra heddles bunched together on shaft ends, mainly on adjacent shafts, is the reason. Spread around extra heddles and stagger heddles on a shaft and you will most likely eliminate sticking shafts.

The number one negative point about a Megado is how difficult it is to change heddles. This is really one feature that is poor on the Megado. Here is a video Louët made to show how to add/remove heddles on the Megado.
