# Tips and troubleshooting **Sticking shafts** The Megado looms, shafts are very close together and compact. As a result, the most common issue Megado owners have is sticking harnesses. However, the number one reason for sticking shafts is bunched up heddles. Too many extra heddles bunched together on shaft ends, mainly on adjacent shafts, is the reason. Spread around extra heddles and stagger heddles on a shaft and you will most likely eliminate sticking shafts.
