# Indirect Warping Method for Two Heddles

As an alternative to Direct Warping, the Indirect Method can be used to prepare your rigid heddle loom for weaving with two heddles. Indirect warping requires a warping board or reel and a pair of lease sticks of an appropriate width.

Ashford's "cross sticks" can also be used as lease sticks. Also Schacht, Leclerc and Louet make lease sticks of various widths; so if you are adding lease sticks, you want them a little longer than the maximum weaving width of your rigid heddle.

These videos are also showing the Euroflax 14/2 Plain Weave towels.
